LIFE ASSURANCE
Our Group Life Assurance scheme is with Canada Life. A life assurance scheme provides a tax-free lump sum benefit to your loved ones in the event of your death whilst employed by Bowmore. You are eligible for this benefit from day 1 of employment.
The lump sum benefit will be based on a multiple of your annual salary.
To nominate the person/s you would like your benefit to be given to, or you want to change your beneficiary, kindly fill out the attached form and send it to Alison O'Neill. Should your circumstances change in future, please complete the form again and inform Alison, so that we can update our records accordingly.

As a member of the Group Life Assurance scheme, you are also entitled to the additional free benefits that Canada Life offers. These benefits include:
- myStrength is a mental health wellbeing app, designed to help you overcome lifes challenges.
- Toothfairy is the UK's first health-regulated, smart dental app. Toothfairy provides instant access to advice guidance and prescriptions. Additional costs are included in this service which are not covered by Bowmore.
- Bereavement Counselling for UK-based employees under the scheme and their immediate family members.
- Probate Helpline for advice on wills, administering estates, and so on. This benefit is also available to members of the scheme and immediate family members.
