Part of NPA's benefit package is the Group Income Protection and Life Assurance arrangements, which are both administered by Legal & General.

Group Income Protection is designed to provide you with a steady income in the unfortunate event that you are unable to work due to long-term illness or injury. In addition to the financial assistance, Group Income Protection schemes offer the added support of free rehabilitation services, helping you get back to work as soon as possible.

To be eligible for this scheme, you must be between the ages of 18 and state pension age. If you meet the eligibility criteria and have been unable to work for 1 year due to illness or injury, the company and Legal & General will extend their support by providing a portion of your salary until you can return to work or reach state pension age. NPA also offer financial support through the initial 1-year absence before this benefit 'kicks in' via an Accident & Sickness policy. The Group Life Assurance arrangement enables your employer to provide a tax-free lump sum benefit to your loved ones in the unfortunate event of your death. NPA has arranged to base this lump sum on 4x your salary, ensuring that your loved ones are taken care of financially during such a difficult time. Please note, to be eligible you must be a permanent employee and between the ages of 18 and state pension age.
