GROUP INCOME PROTECTION
Part of ABC's benefit package is the Group Income Protection scheme, administered by Unum. This valuable benefit is designed to provide you with a steady income in the unfortunate event that you are unable to work due to long-term illness or injury. In addition to the financial assistance, Group Income Protection schemes offer the added support of free rehabilitation services, helping you get back to work as soon as possible.
To be eligible for this scheme, you must be a pensionable employee and have completed a continuous service of at least 12 months with ABC. If you meet the eligibility criteria and have experienced a one-year-long inability to work due to illness or injury, the company and Unum will extend their support by providing a partial salary for a maximum duration of three years.
